Following a disappointing practice session last week, Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers was critical of his team's effort.

In light of those comments, Rodgers voiced on Monday that he hopes that his teammates are tougher mentally to handle his sometimes harsh words with the notion that guides them forward to finding success on the field in the 2018 campaign, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

Throughout his career, Rodgers has been blunt and honest with his criticism and opinion on his team that sometimes can come off as being a bit harsh. This was one of those situations where the young receivers were struggling to run the proper routes on pass plays that led to him to voice his frustrations to the media.

At the same time, the fact that Rodgers is airing out his opinion should provide more motivation to his teammates to pick up their play and effort for the better of the Packers. There is also much credence to what the two-time league MVP has to state given what he has accomplished throughout his career along with the numerous talented wide receivers he has played with in Green Bay.

Time will only tell if his teammates will be able to channel the criticism as more motivation to improve on the field ahead of the 2018 season.
