Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers moved to 2-1-1 on the 2018 season following their Week 4 win over the Buffalo Bills. Not only did they defeat the Bills, but they also beat them by a final score of 22-0. While some players might be happy about a 22-0 victory, Rodgers was not happy at all.

In a press conference shared by Bill Huber of 247 Sports, Rodgers put his team on blast for the struggles they dealt with in the game.

“I’m also a realist. That’s just not acceptable offense for us. We were terrible on offense. I don’t think it made a difference for the offense. Maybe a jolt to the defense a little bit, as I can take credit for their first shutout since 2010.”

Rodgers went on to talk about how the Packers need to fix their offensive issues.

“We need to find ways to get our playmakers in position to get some more opportunities. You know, a game like today, Davante’s a tough cover for anybody, but he should have had 20 targets today. They couldn’t stop him. They dared to play one-high a few times. So, we have to find ways to get him the ball and Jimmy (Graham), as well.”

Green Bay has the potential to have one of the most dangerous offenses in the NFL. The team was missing veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb today, who was sidelined due to a hamstring issue.

Mike McCarthy and company have some work to do this week. Green Bay will now shift their focus to preparing for their Week 5 matchup against the Detroit Lions on the road. Winning that game is not going to be easy, especially if the offensive struggles continue.

Expect to see the Packers attack their offensive game plan this week and try to come back next week getting playmakers more involved. Rodgers is the best quarterback in the NFL and this kind of reaction to a blowout win will only motivate the Packers even more.
