Heading into Sunday's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers had a difficult task in front of them. Star receiver Davante Adams was out with a toe injury and it seemed like their running game was nonexistent, after running back Aaron Jones had a combined 40 yards in the previous two games.

However, the narrative of Jones' season changed dramatically after he was able to run all over the Dallas defense. Jones was not only able to set a new career high in scrimmage yards, but also tied the Green Bay franchise record with four rushing touchdowns.

Talking with the man he replaced in Green Bay, Rodgers appeared on Brett Favre's SiriusXM radio show and stated how liked the progress the Packers offense was making. Per Josh Alper of NBC Sports, Rodgers emphasized how they were able to get “the passing game going and a couple days ago we got the run game really rolling.”

When Adams does return, the Packers will have a multitude of weapons surrounding Rodgers if Jones is indeed able to continue his rushing performance. In order to be a complete team they will need Jones to be a reliable source on the ground. With Jamal Williams' return up  in the air, Jones will be heavily relied upon.

The Packers are one of the most dangerous teams in the NFC, but they must continue to have the balance we saw from them on Sunday. They are capable of beating any team in the NFC but it is a matter of if all their weapons will show up that particular day.
