Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was on the receiving end of a couple of troll jobs after signing his massive new contract. He responded to one from a certain Chicago newspaper. And now, he’s responded to his teammate Davante Adams’ dig.

For those who missed it, Adams claims that Rodgers still hasn't paid back the $20 he owes him after he lent his QB the cash all the way back in 2016. When asked about Adams’ serious accusation against him, Rodgers pleaded his innocence and quickly turned the tables on his top wideout.

“I have no idea what he's talking about. He probably owes me money,” Rodgers said per Aaron Nagler of Cheesehead TV.

Obviously, Rodgers and Adams are messing around about that aforementioned $20. Neither one would care about that small an amount.

But Rodgers raises an interesting point about Adams probably owing him some dough. After all, Rodgers likely had a lot to do with Adams scoring his huge $58 million deal, which made him one of the highest-paid wideouts in the entire league.

Of course, Rodgers isn’t hurting for cash himself after signing the richest deal in NFL history. But still, Adams better be careful about hurling accusations at his quarterback, who might be compelled to collect what he’s owed one of these days if he’s not careful.
