Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee show that he and Odell Beckham talked about joining the Packers.

According to Ari Meirov of PVV, Aaron Rodgers said on the PatMcAfeeShow that he had some honest conversations with Odell Beckham Jr about joining Green Bay, but he ultimately picked LA. The front office kept Rodgers in the loop and he appreciated that.

Odell Beckham to the Packers was one of the hottest trade rumors in all of football. These rumors were before Odell expressed displeasure in Cleveland. When Odell was waived by the Cleveland Browns the rumor started to ramp up and it seemed like Beckham was going to sign with the Packers.

It would have been interesting to see Aaron Rodgers, who's one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and Odell Beckham go at it together. This would have been an interesting duo. If Odell played to the ability that he has played throughout his career, this could have been one of the best duos in the NFL.

Rodgers has also stated in the past that he wasn't too happy with his time in Green Bay. It seems that he and Beckham have a good relationship together and maybe down the road the Packers can pick him up, or Rodgers will join him on a different team.
