Wide receivers, particular star ones, are often associated with being divas. But, in Green Bay, that's the inverse. Packers wide receiver Davante Adams is a bonafide star, but like very few, he remains humble and devoid of any diva attitude.

For his quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, that's something he can appreciate. Adams brings confidence to the gridiron, but antics don't follow — just scorching releases and eye-popping catches. Rodgers said of his receiver recently, per NFL Media's Mike Silver.

“Tay is a guy who has great confidence but not a distracting ego, which I think is rare for a guy as talented as he is. He wants other guys to do well, the guys in the league that he's friends with to get paid and to be respected. He wants other guys on the squad to catch balls. He blocks for other guys. He's not a guy who if he has a bad game, and we win, he's down in the dumps. Obviously, he wants to contribute and feels like if the ball comes his way we're going to win. But he's a really good locker room guy.”

Rodgers' praise for Adams' non-distracting mindset isn't anything new. The Pro Bowl receiver has rarely been in the eye of the public for his words said. However, he remains there due to his effectiveness on the field. In 2018, the now-six-year receiver hauled in 111 receptions for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns.

So when the Packers face rival Chicago Bears on Thursday, don't expect Adams to be in the spotlight for something he's saying. Instead, he'll be there for his game.
