The Green Bay Packers are expected to have their work cut out as heavy underdogs against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. Fortunately, quarterback Aaron Rodgers does not seem to be too deterred by the odds.

The Packers are 7.5-point underdogs heading into Levi's Stadium, which does not bode well for Rodgers considering his track record in such games. According to Lily Zhao of WFRV, he is not buying into all the noise about the pressure he faces:

Aaron Rodgers was asked about feeling any pressure.

Said the 49ers are 7.5 point favorites and with how they performed last time, “the pressure is in a certain place and we should be nice and loose.”

Rodgers' comments should hardly come as any surprise since he is known to be one of the most even-keeled quarterbacks in the NFL. Regardless, it is safe to say that he is well aware of what the headlines are saying coming into the matchup.

Rodgers is 0-3 in games where the Packers were seven-point underdogs. Although he did manage to cover the spread in each of those games, that has not done him any favors for beefing up the Hall of Fame resume.

It should also be noted that Green Bay was also blown out during their first matchup San Francisco in Week 12. While it has been nearly two months since they were beaten down 37-8, the circumstances remain eerily the same. The onus will ultimately fall on Rodgers to show that he is still capable of becoming the most dangerous quarterback in the league.
