The Green Bay Packers fell to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday. The NFC Divisional Round loss knocked the Packers out of the 2022 NFL Playoffs. Following the game, Twitter was full of users tweeting about the loss, poking fun at Aaron Rodgers for losing and for the methods he used while tackling COVID-19.

Rodgers joined the Pat McAfee Show Tuesday afternoon, and McAfee asked him about the hate he received.

“Why do you think the results of you not having success bring so much happiness to so many people? Do you think it's strictly because you're an immunized (expletive)?”

The Packers quarterback replied, “We knew this was in the mix. There were a ton of people tuning in, rooting against us for one reason and one reason only: it's because of my vaccination status and them wanting to see us lose so they could pile on and enjoy and revel in the fact that my vaccination status was some sort of reason why we haven't had success in the playoffs.”

Rodgers has been bashed for his attempts to combat COVID-19 throughout the entire season, especially after he got the Delta variant in the middle of the regular season. Rodgers is not vaccinated against the virus, and listens to the medical advice of UFC Commentator Joe Rogan instead.

On the Pat McAfee Show in December, Rodgers alluded that many NFL teams use Rogan's advice to beat COVID-19, even though they do not publicize it.
