Brian Gutekunst and the Green Bay Packers had two picks in the first round of the NFL Draft last night and ended up getting two very talented players. While some may not like the selection of edge rusher Rashan Gary at No. 12, very few people disliked the team trading up nine spots from No. 30 to No. 21 to select Maryland safety Darnell Savage.

One guy who didn't seem to mind either pick was new Packers' safety Adrian Amos. He signed on in free agency and took to Twitter to share his excitement about the teams' draft strategy.

Green Bay has to be feeling good about the upgrades they have made to their defense this offseason. No one should be more excited than defensive coordinator Mike Pettine.

Coming into the offseason, pass rushing and secondary play were the main concerns. The team spent a lot of money in free agency, signing Preston and Za'Darius Smith to help with pass rushing and Amos to fill a need at safety. Adding Gary and Savage further proves that those two areas were the main concern.

Now, the Packers will be tasked with finding Aaron Rodgers more offensive help. Many think that Green Bay will be looking to draft a wide receiver or offensive lineman in the second round. A tight end may also be a consideration if the right player falls to them with the No. 44 overall pick.

No matter what ends up happening throughout the remainder of the draft, Amos certainly seems pleased with the top two picks that Green Bay made and is ready to get to work with them.
