The Green Bay Packers lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs. Their season is over and the franchise moves onto what should be a busy offseason. However, during the game, AJ Dillon fell to injury fracturing his rib. It's not ideal, but, the talented running back is optimistic about his situation.

According to Rob Demovsky, Dillon is under the impression that his injury is not serious. This is great news, regardless of the Packers being eliminated. AJ Dillon will recover from this injury quickly and shouldn't experience any setbacks.

To get a better idea of how Dillon views his injury, he claims he attempted to get back onto the field but the Packers' training staff wouldn't allow him to re-enter the game. The injury is serious enough to where Dillon likely would have missed the next contest had Green Bay won, but he'd be back for the Super Bowl in that scenario, per Rob Demovsky.

The Packers will be involved in a crucial offseason. With rumors of Aaron Rodgers leaving and the franchise living in cap hell, it'll be interesting to see how Green Bay overcomes the impending adversities. Even so, AJ Dillon is in a good place and is in line to potentially play a bigger role next year.

It's nice to know he's doing fine and will recover quickly from his fractured rib. Packers fans should get excited about Dillon's career outlook, as he aims to be one of the main contributors on the offense sooner, rather than later.
