After a disappointing 2018 season for the Green Bay Packers, the team has certainly turned things around under first-year head coach Matt LaFleur. They currently hold an 11-3 record and remain atop the NFC North as a result of a 21-13 victory over the Chicago Bears.

Despite the various close calls that the Packers have experienced this season, offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga made it clear that his team is not going to apologize for it.

“I’m not making any excuses for us, because we need to be better in those situations,” Bulaga said, via Ryan Wood of PackersNews.com. “But at the same time, the record is what it is. I’m not going to apologize and hang my head for being 11-3. I’m just not going to do it. It’s hard to win in this league. A lot of guys in this locker room haven’t won a lot of games the last two years. We’re 11-3 now, and no one’s apologizing for it.”

Bulaga, who has been the main starter at right tackle for the Packers since he was drafted 23rd overall in the 2010 NFL Draft, isn't the only Green Bay Packer feeling unapologetic for the team's success.

“You’re never disappointed with a win,” safety Adrian Amos said shortly after eliminating his former team from the playoffs. “So as long as we get wins, that’s great. But we just have to keep that momentum.”

Next up on the schedule, Green Bay will look to keep their lead in the NFC North as they travel to Minnesota to face the 10-4 Vikings. The Packers will then end their season in Detroit against a struggling Lions team.
