Green Bay Packers superstar wide receiver Davante Adams is trending upwards to play this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers after being seen practicing for the first time since September 26.

Adams suffered his turf toe injury on Thursday Night Football in the Packers loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Prior to the injury Adams was once again having a dominant season, with 25 catches for 378 yards, with 180 of those receiving yards coming on Thursday Night Football.

Last season, Adams caught 111 passes for 1386 yards and 13 touchdowns. Adams is a two-time Pro Bowler.

Despite losing their number one receiving option, the Packers are undefeated and averaging 32.5 points per game. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 1,255 yards and 10 touchdowns in Adams' absence.

With Adams down, running back Aaron Jones has burst onto the scene, establishing himself as one of the best receiving backs in the league. Wide receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison and Allen Lazard have all helped boost the Packers receiving game without its star.

A potential return for Adams will be a huge boost for the Packers, especially with the Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings coming up in the latter half of the schedule.

Green Bay currently stands on top of the NFC North with a 7-1 record, but the Vikings are close behind at 6-2. The Packers also sit at third in the NFC, behind the San Francisco 49ers (7-0) and New Orleans Saints (7-1).

Green Bay will need Adams back if they want a chance to close out the division and make a deep playoff run.
