Despite the Green Bay Packers having already locked up a playoff berth and clinched the No. 1 seed out of the NFC, it seems the plan is to play the starters in Week 18. Of course, deploying the starters in a relatively meaningless game is always a risk. When asked about that risk, star wide receiver Davante Adams had a perfect response, referencing Ice Cube in his comments to the media, via Matt Schneidman.

Adams operates under the mentality that an injury can occur at any time, regardless of what you're doing. Thus, the Packers star wide receiver downplayed any worry about a potential injury in Week 18, and even dropped a warning for his opponents.

“At this point, you can't run from me,” Adams said, before dropping a perfectly-timed Ice Cube bar. “If you scared, go to church,” said Adams, referencing the classic 2006 Ice Cube song, “Go To Church,” which features Snoop Dogg and Lil Jon.

The Packers will be in Detroit on Sunday for their Week 18 clash with the Lions, and any members of the Lions' secondary hoping to avoid a matchup with Adams will be sorely disappointed. As Adams so perfectly stated, “if you're scared, go to church.”

Adams is almost guaranteed to surpass the 1,500 receiving yard threshold if he suits up in Week 18. On the year, Adams has recorded 117 receptions on 162 targets, racking up a career-high 1,498 receiving yards and adding 11 touchdowns to his resumé. He's just two yards shy of 1,500 and knowing Adams' mentality, you can be sure the star wideout has that in the back of his mind heading into the Packers' regular-season finale.
