Davante Adams has developed into one of the top wide receivers in the entire NFL. The Green Bay Packers will need him to play to his full potential in 2019 after seeing Randall Cobb walk in free agency.

Aaron Rodgers and company are excited for the fresh start in a new offense under head coach Matt LaFleur even without Cobb being on the roster. Green Bay is depending on either Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison to step up as their No. 2 receiver.

After getting a sneak peak at LaFleur's new offense in camp, Adams is a big fan of what the team is capable of doing. He made it clear that he is expecting “splash plays” with the new offense.

“He said there’s a lot of big play potential. A lot of things that are going to scheme me open,” Silver said. “He said look for a lot of splash plays.”

Adams had a massive season in 2018 with the Packers. He ended up catching 111 passes for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns. Those numbers will have a chance to improve in 2019 with an even bigger role.

Rodgers has been very open about wanting to get Adams the football even more this season. Adams is more than capable of handling an even larger workload. He has shown the ability to be a deep threat and a possession receiver.

LaFleur has a lethal offensive system that he is ready to unleash with one of the best quarterbacks of all-time and a superstar receiver. Green Bay is hoping to get back into playoffs after missing each of the last two years. In order to do so, they will need their offense to make the splash that Adams is talking about.
