If you weren't already sure, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams established himself as one of the best in the NFL in 2018.

With that in mind, it shouldn't be a surprise to see Adams near the top of different categories – that includes passer rating when targeted.

Dissect the numbers and this is grossly obvious. Davante Adams had 111 receptions on 169 targets – that's a 65.7 completion percentage. He racked up 1,386 yards and had 13 touchdown receptions.

Then you quickly look at quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He threw just two interceptions last season. DeShone Kizer had two as well.

That means the worst case scenario would be the QB's completing 65.7% for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns compared to four interceptions. The only number subject to change there is interceptions – and it can only go down.

It's pretty simple when you think about it. Aaron Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time. Davante Adams is possibly the best receiver he's ever had and one of the best in the NFL at the moment. If you're shocked those two combined to lead the NFC North in passer rating when targeted, you must've been living under a rock for the last few years.

2018 saw Adams post career-highs in targets and receptions, as well as touchdowns and yards. It was the third straight year of at least 74 receptions and 10 touchdowns. He's a superstar and is going to continue to put up big numbers with a chance to lead the league in any receiving statistic.

Again, it's not hard to see how Adams led the NFC North in this stat. It also wouldn't be surprising to see him lead it again in 2019.
