Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams enjoyed a breakout year in 2018. He has set himself up to etch his name into the team's history books in the 2019 NFL season.

Adams is entering his sixth year in Green Bay. According to Brian Jones of 247 Sports, he has a chance to break into the top 10 for a number of Packers' franchise receiving records:

If Adams stays healthy, he should be able to reach 400 career receptions, 40 career receiving touchdowns and 5,500 career receiving yards. That will put him in the top 10 in franchise history for all three categories.

The prospect of Davante Adams accomplishing these feats is certainly not far-fetched. He has registered 348 receptions for 4,197 yards, and 39 touchdowns thus far in his career. All he has to do is mirror the same type of production he enjoyed in 2018.

This should not be too difficult considering that Davante Adams has established himself as one of the NFL's premier wideouts while serving as the No. 1 option in the Packers' passing game. He has clearly earned the trust of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which led to his most productive year after being selected to a second straight Pro Bowl.

Green Bay has ushered in significant changes with the arrival of new head coach Matt LaFleur. Although he has indicated that he would like to use a more balanced approach on offense, it is safe to assume LaFleur will continue to rely heavily on Adams in the passing game. It will be interesting to see where his name ends up on the Packers' all-time receiving record when the season concludes.
