Davante Adams is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. We know this. Still, the Green Bay Packers star seems to save his best performances for the Minnesota Vikings.

Case in point, during the Packers' two games against the Vikings this past season (both Green Bay wins), Adams totaled 20 catches for 222 yards.

So, why is Adams so dominant against Minnesota? Well, a Vikings fan asked him why on Twitter, and Adams came back with a pretty succinct and stern response which Packers fans will love:

In 12 games for the Packers in 2019, Adams caught 83 passes for 997 yards and five touchdowns, en route to his third straight Pro Bowl appearance. He missed four contests due to a toe injury.

The 27-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Fresno State, was originally selected by the Packers in the second round (53rd pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He had a couple of quiet seasons to begin his NFL career, failing to even hit 500 yards in 2014 or 2015. However, in 2016, Adams broke out, registering 75 catches for 997 yards and 12 scores. He then made his first Pro Bowl in 2017 for the Packers, snaring 74 balls for 885 yards while reaching the end zone 10 times.

The Redwood City, Calif., native went on to have his best year to date in 2018, hauling in 111 receptions for 1,386 yards and 13 touchdowns, en route to another Pro Bowl selection for the Packers.

Green Bay won 13 games and captured the NFC North division title this past year, locking up a first-round bye. The Packers made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game before falling to the San Francisco 49ers.
