Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the latest NFL star to strike gold on the contract negotiation table this offseason, as he just agreed with the team to a four-year extension that reportedly comes with over $100 million in guaranteed money.

Upon getting whiff of the news of Rodgers’ windfall, Packers wide receiver Davante Adams decided that it’s high time to put his quarterback on blast, albeit in a hilarious manner, by publicly expressing his bewilderment over an unpaid $20 debt.

Of course, Davante Adams was just messing with Rodgers. After all, his salary isn’t too shabby either. The Fresno State product just signed a nice deal of his own last December, a four-year, $58 million contract, so he really has no reason at all to chase Rodgers for some loose change.

Hopefully, this does not end up as a copycat episode of the Geno Smith-IK Enemkpali show in 2016.

Rodgers and Adams are expected to carry most of the load on offense for the Packers. Rodgers is always going to be Rodgers, while Adams is looking to build on a productive 2017 campaign in which he led the team with 885 passing yards and 10 touchdowns on 74 receptions. Adams also led the league with 22 touchdown receptions over the last two seasons.
