The Green Bay Packers face a dilemma one week into the NFL season. David Bakhtiari had to miss practice as the Pack prepares for the Vikings. With his availability unknown, the Packers' depth is a concern.

Sam Ekstrom confirmed via Twitter that the offensive tackle had to sit out of team practice due to his nagging injuries.

To make matters worse, he was one of 16 players that also sat out of team practice due to injuries. While a good chunk of these injured players had full participation, it's still worrying that the Packers had this many men battered only after one week of football.

A quick look at the depth chart will tell you that second-year tackle Alex Light will have to deputize should Bakhtiari not be fit enough to play. However, there's no one else behind him as they are the only two left tackles in the squad.

Moreover, Packers Wire's Zach Kruse also pointed out the potential problems of fielding Light against the Vikings:

He played the majority of the offense’s snaps at left tackle during the preseason. But Light has never played left tackle in a regular season NFL game and was inactive in Week 1 despite being healthy. Clearly, Light isn’t viewed as the first option off the bench.

Matt LaFleur have quite a problem on his hands because protecting Aaron Rodgers from pass rushers is important. Not having a viable backup behind Bakhtiari could spell nothing but trouble for Green Bay.

The Packers faithful can only hope that Bakhtiari wouldn't have to miss a game this season.
