The Green Bay Packers may be in the midst of a disappointing season as a whole in 2018, but one player holding up his end of the bargain is tackle David Bakhtiari.

Pro Football Focus' numbers love Bakhtiari's production this year, particularly in pass protection:

Bakhtiari has started all 13 games at left tackle for the Packers this season.

The 27-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Colorado, was originally selected by Green Bay in the fourth round (109th pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Bakhtiari was immediately inserted into the Packers' starting lineup during his rookie campaign, protecting Aaron Rodgers' blindside for all 16 games.

He has been Green Bay's starting left tackle ever since, garnering Pro Bowl honors during the 2016 season.

Throughout his six-year NFL career, the Burlingame, Ca. native has played in all but six contests.

It has been a rough year in Green Bay, indeed.

The Packers currently own a record of just 5-7-1 and have very slim playoff hopes which can be dashed this weekend with a loss to the hated-rival Chicago Bears.

Should Green Bay fail to qualify for the postseason, it would mark the first time since 2006 that it missed the playoffs two years in a row. Remember: last year, Rodgers missed most of the season with a broken collarbone, and the Packers finished 7-9 as a result.

Prior to the 2017 campaign, Green Bay had made the postseason eight years in a row, including a Super Bowl victory during the 2010-11 campaign.

The Bears will play host to the Packers at 1 p.m. ET this Sunday.
