A significant aspect of David Bakhtiari's record-breaking deal with the Green Bay Packers has emerged, and as it turns out, it has allowed the team to clear up to $8.3 million in cap space. This is a key development in terms of the Packers' cap space maneuverability in the offseason, and Bakhtiari quickly took to Twitter to send his reaction for the same.

The 29-year-old decided to use a GIF to express his thoughts on this matter:

That's exactly the type of reaction you'd expect from Bakhtiari, who's one of the more colorful personalities in the league today.

He's also a pretty good player on the field as well, and his record deal serves as a testament to this fact. The Packers signed their prized offensive tackle to a $105 million extension back in November, making him the highest paid offensive linesman in league history.

As reported by the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Green Bay decided to restructure Bakhtiari's deal to allow them to create more cap space for the upcoming season. Part of Bakhtiari's extension stipulated an $11.4-million bonus which he was set to receive in full next month. With Bakhtiari's blessing, the Packers were able to convert the one-time payment into a signing bonus, which they will now be able to spread throughout the duration of the new contract.

Awesome move for Bakhtiari here, who for his part, just turned down the opportunity to pocket a full $11 million in March. It's a huge short-term loss for his part, but looking at the big picture, it's not really too much of a big deal for him.
