It has been a rollercoaster start to DeShone Kizer's NFL career that has already seen the Cleveland Browns move him after a rough rookie campaign in a deal to the Green Bay Packers. This has put him in a completely different situation where he will be competing with Brett Hundley to be the backup behind All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

All of this transition has only further provided personal motivation for Kizer to make the most of his new surroundings by proving himself to the Packers, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

There is a clear ceiling to his situation with Green Bay with no chance to earn playing time ahead of Rodgers, but the team has continued to speak highly of what Kizer has shown up to this point in the offseason workouts. Head coach Mike McCarthy has led the charge voicing much praise toward the 22-year-old's ability on the field and trajectory ahead in his career.

Kizer has the physical totals to become a viable quarterback in the league behind his strong arm, but it has been his accuracy and decision making that has been the biggest area of needed growth. He does have the unique opportunity in front of him to learn from the best quarterbacks in league history that could help take those necessary steps in his maturation.

The competition with Hundley could be his opportunity to make more forward progress in his development while further ingrain himself into the mix with the franchise.
