The Green Bay Packers fiasco with Aaron Rodgers doesn't seem to be leaving the news cycle anytime soon. As Rodgers continues to stay quiet regarding all the recent speculation about a fracture in the relationship between he and Green Bay's front office, the trade talks have fired up.

One team constantly being brought up, should Rodgers be traded, is the Denver Broncos. And now, one outlet is listing Drew Lock as the odds-on favorite to start week 1 for the Packers should Rodgers be traded.

Sportsbetting.com lists Drew Lock as a 3:1 favorite to take the first snaps under center for the Packers in week one should Rodgers be traded. The correlation of course is that if No. 12 is sent packing, Denver becomes the most likely destination, where Lock currently plays.

Right behind Lock is Derek Carr, the current starting QB1 for the Las Vegas Raiders. Carr's odds to be the week 1 starter for Green Bay if a trade happens with Rodgers sit at 4:1.

So where does Jordan Love slot in with all of this? It's Love who the Packers traded up for and selected in round one of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Well, Love is right behind Lock and Carr with his odds resting at 5:1. There's actually some value in taking Love at those odds as he may start one way or another right out of the gate in 2021 if Rodgers isn't with the Packers.

The listing for the bet notes that all bets will be taken as ā€œno actionā€ if it is indeed Aaron Rodgers under center for the Packers to start the 2021 season.

Others on the list include: Russell Willson (+700), Tua Tagovailoa (+800), Teddy Bridgewater (+1200), Blake Bortles (+2500) and a host of others as well.

It's yet to be seen how this Rodgers ā€“ Packers nightmare scenario will reach its conclusion but for the time being, odds are being posted on who in fact will take the first snap at quarterback for Green Bay in 2021.
