In 2018, Geronimo Allison looked to be well on his way to establishing himself as the Green Bay Packers' No. 2 wide receiver behind Davante Adams, as he caught 20 passes for 303 yards and a couple of touchdowns over his first five games.

However, injuries then thwarted Allison's progress, and he did not play another game the rest of the year.

But now, Allison is healthy and seems ready to resume his quest to become one of the top options in the Packers' offense, and apparently, he is looking pretty good this offseason, with Adams singing his praises and saying that Matt LaFleur's offense seems to be bringing out the best in him.

“He's the guy who's been working a lot in the slot, and he's used to playing a little more outside, but this is making him a little more dynamic,” Adams said, according to Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official team website. “I think Matt has really tested him or challenged him to widen it out so he can play multiple spots. … Him being able to move around right now and be healthy, be himself and just play, being able to have all those things, it's going to be dangerous.”

Allison, who played his collegiate football at the University of Illinois, went undrafted but eventually landed in Green Bay in 2016, where he played in 10 games and logged 12 catches for 202 yards and a pair of scores.

Then, the following season, Allison appeared in 15 contests but remained quiet, catching 23 passes for 253 yards.

Without much receiving depth behind Adams, the Packers are certainly hoping for big things from Allison in 2019.
