The Green Bay Packers are circling a big game on their calendar as they face off against the league's most potent offense in Week 8 against MVP Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers is going to need to play at as high of a level as ever as the Chiefs are perhaps the AFC's best team heading into the 2019 season.

After hiring new head coach Matt LaFleur, the Packers' offense will look to rebound in a big way this season after a disastrous 2018 season. With plenty of fire power on the Packers offense, this game has all the makings of a classic matchup.

Wide receiver Davante Adams and running back Aaron Jones put on quite the show last season and they'll need to repeat that level of play in Week 8 to keep up with the Chiefs weapons. Alongside Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Tyreek Hill are dangerous players that can explode for a big play at any given time. Chiefs running back Damien Williams even put on a tremendous performance last season as he flashed big time playmaking ability in the second half of the season.

Green Bay could be extremely dangerous as well next season even though last season was extremely underwhelming at times. In addition to a fantastic offense, the Packers' revamped defense should be a big test for the Chiefs. Although Mahomes proved to be matchup proof, the Packers pass rush will try to change that and take him out of his element.
