Titans offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur will get his shot to grab one of the most prestigious positions in the NFL. According to Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com, LaFleur will be interviewing for the position of the new Green Bay Packers head coach on Sunday.

As we've previously reported, Chuck Pagano already interviewed for the position. In addition to LaFleur and Pagano, Jim Caldwell, Josh McDaniels, Brian Flores, Mike Munchak, and Dan Campbell are all in consideration for the position as well.

Prior to his stint with the Titans, the 39-year-old LaFleur was the quarterbacks' coach for the Washington Redskins, the quarterbacks' coach for the Atlanta Falcons, and the offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams.

During his tenure with the Falcons, Matt LaFleur helped guide the team to Super Bowl LI. Even though they ultimately lost to the New England Patriots, LaFleur was credited for much of the team's success that season.

The Green Bay Packers, meanwhile, have been without a head coach since they fired Mike McCarthy after their 20-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. McCarthy had, prior to his termination, been with the team since 2006. Currently, Joe Philbin is serving as the interim head coach until the team succeeds in finding a suitable successor to McCarthy.

It's unclear when the Packers will make a decision about Matt LaFleur, or any of their other potential head coach candidates.
