The Green Bay Packers are still among the favorites to win the NFC North despite a 1-0-1 record through the first two weeks of the 2018 NFL season. That’s largely because they still have quarterback Aaron Rodgers, arguably the best player in the league today. Having said that, the Packers are still constantly finding ways to shore up their lineup.

According to Aaron Nagler of Cheesehead TV, the Packers have worked out four players this week.

Here's who the Packers had in for workouts this week:

Shay Fields, WR Colorado

Chad Hansen, WR California

Brogan Roback, QB Eastern Michigan

Korey Robertson,  WR Southern Mississippi

Taj Williams, WR Texas Christian

Of these four players, it’s Brogan Roback who’s probably the most recognizable player. Roback was most recently a part of the Cleveland Browns, and he even got some exposure on HBO’s Hard Knocks. The former Eastern Michigan quarterback went unselected in this year’s NFL Draft but signed a deal with Cleveland before getting released by the team in April.

The Packers likely want to see whether there are quality and cheap talent they can consider adding to their roster or practice squad. Rodgers has been playing hurt since Week 1 of the season, and if he’s going to miss time this season, it makes sense for Green Bay to solidify their quarterback depth. Former Browns starter and turnover-prone DeShone Kizer is acting as the team’s primary backup to Rodgers.

The Packers, who will be gunning for their second win of the season this Sunday against the Washington Redskins on the road, are 11th in the league with 277.0 passing yards per game.
