The Green Bay Packers will start their NFL preseason a little shorthanded on the offensive side of the football. The team will reportedly be without star tight end Jimmy Graham when they take on the Tennessee Titans at Lambeau Field on Thursday night.

According to Aaron Nagler of PackersNews.com, Graham is currently dealing with a knee injury which will delay his debut in green and yellow.

Fortunately for Green Bay, Graham's stint with the team won't get started with a severe injury. As Nagler points out, the veteran tight end's knee issue isn't serious. Graham has dealt with his fair share of injuries over the course of his career and likely has some Packers fans nervous due to this latest report about his health.

Unlike in years past, the Packers brass decided to make a bold move in NFL free agency this offseason by bringing in the five-time Pro Bowler. Graham made a name for himself as arguably the best tight end in the league during his time with the New Orleans Saints before he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 2015.

The once-dominant tight end didn't have the same success in Seattle as he did in New Orleans but is still considered to be a viable threat, especially with superstar Aaron Rodgers throwing him the football moving forward.

Last season, Graham had a resurgent year catching 10 touchdown passes which is the most since his last season with the Saints. If he can stay healthy, he may quickly become one of Rodgers' favorite targets in Green Bay's offense as they hope to bounce back from missing the playoffs last year.
