The Green Bay Packers are still in “will he or won't he” mode when it comes to Aaron Rodgers reporting to camp. Jordan Love could care less. He's balling out.

Love had a bit of a rough showing at camp on Tuesday, but he has apparently done a full turn on Wednesday.

Rob Demovsky of ESPN gave the rundown of some notable Love throws. He hit both running backs and receivers downfield and along the sidelines. The final throw to running back Aaron Jones prompted Packers tight end coach Justin Outten to start fanning him.

It is obviously too early to glean too much from just one day of practice. As previously noted, Love had a pretty underwhelming showing on Tuesday. Still, it's very clear Packers teammates and coaches are taking note of his abilities and improvement.

Love is sort of the unfortunate middle man in the Rodgers holdout. Although Rodgers told former SportsCenter anchor Kenny Mayne he has nothing but love for Jordan (no pun intended), it's hard to ignore his dissatisfaction with the Packers franchise seemed to become more noticeable after Green Bay used its first-round pick on Love in 2020.

There is also the fact Love is caught between a rock and a hard place. He is really still a backup, at least until there is more clarity with respect to the Rodgers situation. Then again, there might never be clarity on that front, which might force Love into starting duty.

Time will tell who eventually lines up under center for the Packers in Week 1. For now, Love is progressing as if the job is his.
