Jordy Nelson will forever be remembered as one of the all-time receivers in Green Bay Packers' history. The longtime wideout in Green Bay has decided to sign a one-day contract to retire with the Packers.

Nelson began his career with the Packers in 2008 after the team drafted him with the 36th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. After that, Nelson would spend 10 seasons with the storied franchise.

Over the course of his career in Green Bay, Nelson amassed 550 receptions, 7,848 yards, and 69 touchdowns. Nelson ranked third in receptions in franchise history, fifth in receiving yards and second in touchdowns.

Nelson also joined Sterling Sharpe as the second Packers receiver to have three-straight seasons with 85 0r more receptions. That's some good company to have as he reflects on his career.

Nelson was a constant threat in the Packers offense as Aaron Rodgers' right-hand man. The two had a chemistry that was inseparable on and off of the field. When the Packers released Nelson after the 2017 season, Rodgers posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, describing what Nelson meant to him.

All good things must come to an end and the connection between Rodgers and Nelson was one for the ages. After all, it's tough to find many duos who could connect for 13 or more touchdowns in three separate seasons.

Nelson came close to playing his entire career with Green Bay but spent the 2018 season with the Oakland Raiders. At 33-years old, Nelson had 63 receptions for 739 yards and three scores.

As sad as it may be to watch Jordy Nelson walk away from football, he will never be forgotten among Packers fans.
