Since cornerback Kevin King was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft, he has played in just 15 games due to shoulder and hamstring injuries.

King underwent shoulder surgery last December, and after finally returning from the issue this season, he proceeded to injure his hamstring after participating in just six contests, resulting in a trip to the injured reserve list.

As one would expect, some fans who don't exactly understand the rigors of professional sports have begun to get frustrated with King, even poking fun at his penchant toward getting hurt.

One fan on Twitter tried as much on Tuesday, but King shut the fan down with a fantastic response:

The best part about this retort is that King didn't even bring up his wallet to start with. Had he done that, then the reply would have certainly lost some of its luster and actually would have looked a bit arrogant, but that's not what happened here.

The fan was the one who decided to bring the subject of wallets into the fold, to which King crafted the perfect comeback.

King, who played his collegiate football at the University of Washington, finished with 17 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery this season.

Last year, he played in nine games and totaled 27 stops and five passes defended.

The good news for King is that he is just 23 years old, so he has plenty of time to right the ship.

The Packers went just 6-9-1 this season.
