The Green Bay Packers are one of the top teams in the NFL entering their Week 14 matchup against the Washington Redskins. With a 9-3 record, the Packers are looking to take another step towards clinching the NFC North division title. Unfortunately, they may be without one of their key defensive playmakers against Washington.

According to a report from Matt Schneidman of The Athletic, the Packers have listed starting cornerback Kevin King as questionable for this week's matchup.

King has been one of the most important players on the Green Bay defense so far this season. A healthy King means a lethal one-two punch at the cornerback position across from Jaire Alexander. Without King, the Packers have a bit of a hole that veteran cornerback Tramon Williams has to fill.

On the season so far, King has racked up 55 total tackles to go along with a sack, a forced fumble, four interceptions, and 13 defended passes.

Washington may not be known for having a top-notch offense, but they are capable of moving the football if the defense allows it. Rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins has been gaining valuable experience over the last few weeks. Not having King on the field would be a tough loss for the Packers.

In a game that represents the definition of a trap game, the Packers need to be at their best. If King is unable to play, the defense may have a tough time in the secondary.

Hopefully, things will get better as Sunday's matchup draws closer and King will be able to play.
