The Green Bay Packers are taking on the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football in a highly anticipated Week 8 matchup. During the second quarter of the game, Aaron Rodgers threw a pass to veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis in the endzone.

Lewis made a spectacular one-handed catch for what could have been a crucial touchdown to put Green Bay up 14-7 over the Cardinals. What would have been a highlight play for the year, was shown on the NFL's Twitter account, even though it didn't count.

It's not every day that an incomplete pass makes the highlight reel, but this one was special. Marcedes Lewis sticks the ball with one hand as he falls into the endzone. Unfortunately, he was only able to get one foot in, taking what could have been a phenomenal play for six off of the scoreboard.

In the end, the Packers were unable to score a touchdown against the Cardinals on that specific possession. Based on how well Arizona has played this year, a missed touchdown there could be detrimental for Green Bay at the end of this Thursday Night game. Especially since the Packers are without Devante Adams in this matchup.

Instead, Aaron Rodgers will have to find other ways to put points on the board, as the Packers hope to give the Cardinals their first loss of the season. Too bad Marcedes Lewis couldn't get two feet into the endzone, as it would have given Green Bay some nice breathing room heading into half-time.

We'll see how this one plays out, as this Packers-Cardinals game could come down to the wire. This is a huge NFC matchup between two of the top teams in the NFL. Everything is on the line for this one, as both the Packers and Cardinals aim to separate themselves from the rest of the pack.
