The Green Bay Packers won't be as beaten and battered at wide receiver on Sunday as previously perceived. Both Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison avoided the inactive list for Week 7's tilt with the Oakland Raiders.

Valdes-Scantling did not practice all week as he dealt with injuries to his left knee and left ankle. Allison cleared through concussion protocol and overcame a chest injury sustained in Week 6's win over the Detroit Lions.

Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams will miss his third straight game as he battles a turf toe injury. Allison will start in his place.

The Packers signed free agent wide receiver Ryan Grant earlier in the week as an insurance policy if Adams, Valdes-Scantling and Allison were not able to play on Sunday. It appears as if that was warranted, but won't be needed as he is on the inactive list.

The Packers will be without rookie safety Darnell Savage for Sunday's game as he deals with an ankle injury. Will Redmond will start in his place. In addition, guard Cole Madison, linebacker Tim Williams, guard/center Adam Pankey and tight end Robert Tonyan (hip) won't play on Sunday.

On the other side of the ball, the Raiders officially marked wide receiver Tyrell Williams (foot), wide receiver Zay Jones, quarterback DeShone Kizer, right tackle Trent Brown (calf), defensive end Arden Key (knee), wide receiver Dwayne Harris (ankle) and cornerback Keisean Nixon as inactive.

The Packers are 5-1 heading into their home game on Sunday, whereas the Raiders are 3-2 and are coming off of a bye.
