The Green Bay Packers released names for their Reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday, including veteran kicker Mason Crosby and second-year tight end Jace Sternberger, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The NFL established the COVID reserve list earlier this week for players who either test positive for the coronavirus, the ongoing public health crisis in the world and United States, or have been quarantining due to close contact with a person carrying COVID-19.

The additions of Crosby and Sternberger to the COVID reserve list is by no means a direct indication the two Packers players have contracted coronavirus; rather, it may mean they are simply away from the team and quarantining due to potentially crossing paths with someone with the virus.

Joining the two in the NFC North on COVID reserve lists for teams are Chicago Bears nose tackle John Jenkins and Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr.

Several players have opted out of the forthcoming 2020 NFL season due to health and other concerns with COVID-19, including higher profile people like Dont'a Hightower of the New England Patriots and Marquise Goodwin of the Philadelphia Eagles.

At the current moment, the NFL does not have a plan for a bubble or bubbles, such as the NBA and WNBA, for the upcoming regular season in the fall and winter (the preseason was canceled, though).
