On Thursday night, Matt LaFleur earned his first win as Green Bay Packers head coach in a 10-3 slugfest against the Chicago Bears. After doing so, quarterback Aaron Rodgers handed him the game ball.

While handing him the game ball, Rodgers said:

“Defense should probably be given this, but it's not every day you get your first win as an NFL head coach.”

LaFleur accepted the game ball as his team went crazy around him in celebration. For the first-year head coach, it was a moment that can't be replicated. Winning one's first NFL game as a head coach is special, as he said on Friday, via Packers News:

“It was a special moment. I think a lot of these guys, man. What’s so special to me is I can tell these guys are coming together as a team and I think they care about each other. It was more special just to enjoy that moment with our team and our players and our coaches.”

Though LaFleur enjoyed accomplishing a monumental milestone, he didn't spend much time celebrating. He's on to next week when they face the talented Minnesota Vikings in Green Bay, as he said on what he did Friday, via Packers News:

“Got up early this morning and came in and watched the tape and went through all the corrections. Now, it’s on to Minnesota. You don’t spend too much time reflecting on the moment.”

LaFleur isn't reminiscing on the moment. Instead, he wants to celebrate some more times in Green Bay.
