Kevin King just can't seem to elude injuries in his short time in the NFL. King suffered a hamstring injury that held him out of practice on Sunday. Matt LaFleur said that the Green Bay Packers will know more about his injury in the next couple of days.

The Packers drafted King with the 33rd overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. When they selected the cornerback out of Washington, they were hoping to get a reliable starter for their team.

So far, injuries have plagued King's career with him ending the 2018 season on injured reserve. King suffered an injury to his right shoulder that would require surgery, along with a hamstring injury that ultimately landed him on injured reserve.

It was the second time that King was placed on injured reserve as he had an injury to his left shoulder that cost him his rookie season early on. In two seasons, King has only been able to start in 11 games due to injuries.

This season, King was excited to get back on the field after having a successful recovery from his previous injuries. Now, another hamstring issue could cause King to be sidelined once again.

The Packers would love to pair King alongside Jaire Alexander but it's tough to rely on someone who can't stay healthy. Currently, Tramon Williams will likely be asked to start with Alexander as second-year cornerback Josh Jackson is on the non-football injury list.

The Packers are hoping to get their young cornerbacks back before they face the Chicago Bears in Week 1 at Soldier Field.
