If there is one thing Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasn't having over the last couple of years, it was fun, but apparently, that is changing.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur says that he is enjoying his time with Rodgers thus far, and the feeling appears to be mutual.

“I think it's going great, man. He's fun to be around,” said LaFleur, according to Allan Bell of 247 Sports. “You can see how much fun he's having on the field.”

LaFleur is entering his first season at the helm in Green Bay, replacing long-time head coach Mike McCarthy, who was fired after a 4-7-1 start this past season.

McCarthy had been coaching the Packers since 2006, leading them to a Super Bowl victory during the 2010-11 campaign. However, as time went on, McCarthy's relationship with Rodgers seemed to sour more and more, which seemingly played a rather significant role in the Packers' decision to dismiss McCarthy late this past season.

LaFleur spent the 2018 campaign as the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans, and in 2017, he worked under Sean McVay with the Los Angeles Rams, so he is considered one of the brightest young minds in the NFL right now.

The Packers went just 6-9-1 this past year and missed the playoffs, marking the first time since 2006 that Green Bay had failed to qualify for the postseason in back-to-back campaigns. In 2017, the Packers won just seven games, largely due to the fact that Rodgers missed most of the season as a result of a broken collarbone.
