Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels was sidelined for the final six games of the 2018 campaign with a foot injury, and with Davis entering the final year of his deal, there is a chance he could be playing football elsewhere a year from now.

As a result, Daniels seems determined to prove himself this coming season, and his quest begins in training camp on Thursday.

“My foot is coming along,” Daniels told Matt Hietpas of WBAY TV. “You guys will see me out there on Thursday.”

Daniels is trying to avoid hitting the physically unable to perform list, and he seems determined to make sure he is available for Week 1.

“I'm ready to get back out there,” Daniels added. ” More than ever. I'll just leave it at that. You guys will see.”

There had even been some talk that the Packers could potentially cut Davis, but that has not come to fruition thus far, and so long as Daniels has a strong training camp, he should probably be safe.
