The Green Bay Packers got back into the win column with a 22-0 shutout win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, but it saw star quarterback Aaron Rodgers voice after the game his frustration with his team's overall play offensively.

Head coach Mike McCarthy voiced on Monday that he holds the same viewpoint that Rodgers has of the team's performance against the Bills as he felt the offense could have done much more on the field, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

Mike McCarthy on Aaron Rodgers: “Very passionate man, very competitive. I'm no different, too. …When I closed my door last night and watched the game, I feel like we left a lot out here.”

The Packers had full control throughout the game, but their offense just couldn't get it going consistently any point in the contest. Although the team had 423 total offensive yards, there was much more that could have been done against a struggling Bills defense averaging just 5.7 yards per play while getting in the red zone twice converting on two of those trips. Rodgers had a productive game completing 22-of-40 passes for 298 yards with a touchdown and interception.

Green Bay did have balance with their running game that produced 141 rushing yards with second-year running back Aaron Jones leading the charge with 11 carries for 65 rushing yards and a touchdown. The production in the backfield helped push the team down the field in what was a performance that could have seen more out of the offense than 22 points. This saw them produce just six points in the second half that kept Buffalo in the game despite their inability to move the ball with any efficiency.

Rodgers and McCarthy have a chance to get the team back on track in Week 5 with a matchup on the road against the Detriot Lions.
