The Green Bay Packers have high expectations for this season, but not everyone thinks they are going to live up to those. Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report named the six teams he thinks have their Super Bowl window closing, and he included the Packers on that list.

Gagnon knows how important it is for Aaron Rodgers and Matt LaFleur to see eye to eye from the beginning, and he thinks if that doesn't happen, it could spell the end for their Super Bowl chances.

“[Aaron] Rodgers has also talked about playing until he's 40, but he and the team have endured a tumultuous stretch in recent years. If he and incoming head coach Matt LaFleur don't see eye-to-eye from the get-go or struggle early on, this experiment could fail quickly.”

“If that happens, the Packers could find themselves in a bad spot.”

Gagnon wonders who Rodgers would respond if the Packers needed to make another coaching change, or if he would even stick around.

“Rodgers might not be willing to tolerate another regime change. And even if he remains on board as a 36- or 37-year-old after another coaching debacle, what will he and the team have left?”

Gagnon raises a lot of interesting points, but all his points rely on the relationship not working out. What happens if LaFleur and Rodgers do see eye to eye and the two have a lot of success working together?

Maybe this could be a relationship that flourishes and results in the team winning a couple more Super Bowls.
