The NFL draft is just hours away, and anticipation is cresting – not just for fans, but players, too.

When Oakland Raiders superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown asked on twitter Thursday afternoon where Marquise Brown, his cousin, is likely to be drafted, he received hundreds of replies. Perhaps most instructive among them, though, came from free agent safety Darius Butler, who predicted “Hollywood” Brown would be taken by the Packers.

Marquise Brown, considered for most of the pre-draft process as the second-best wide receiver in this year's class, might have passed Ole Miss counterpart D.K. Metcalf in the positional pecking order leading up to draft night, according to some reports. If that proves the case, he'll have certainly come off the board before Green Bay picks at No. 12. The Packers have also been frequently mentioned as a team that might be interested in trading up on draft night to get the player they prefer, a strategy that would align with their aggressive offseason under general manager Brian Gutekunst.

At 5-foot-9, 166 pounds, Brown lacks the size NFL teams traditionally covet from No. 1 targets, but will immediately enter the league as one of the fastest players in all of football. Though a Lisfranc injury in his foot sidelined him for the NFL Combine, Brown believes he would have broken the 40-yard dash record of 4.22 seconds set by Cincinnati Bengals receiver John Ross in 2017. He had 75 catches for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns for Oklahoma as a junior in 2018.

Butler, by the way, last played in the NFL in 2017 as a member of the Indianapolis Colts.
