It's been a drama-filled time for Aaron Rodgers recently as all eyes are on the superstar quarterback. Many noticed his absence from the Green Bay Packers' early offseason workouts, which turned into speculation that Rodgers is potentially upset with the franchise once again. However, offensive coordinator Tom Clements clears the air.

According to NFL.com, Clements claims, “Aaron doesn't need reps at this time of year. Obviously, it'd be nice to have him here, but he's seen these things a thousand times and he'll be ready to go when training camps start.” So, it sounds like the Packers quarterback will enjoy an extended vacation before participating in training camp.

Considering Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the league with 17 years of experience under his belt, he likely doesn't need to go through an optional training period with the team. There isn't any new information Aaron Rodgers will learn in May, as it's much more important he's ready to go in the summer for training camp with the rest of his teammates.

Fans would likely enjoy seeing Aaron Rodgers practicing with his teammates though, as he must build chemistry with several new faces. Davante Adams is out of the picture, which means a new favorite target will be born. We should expect to see Rodgers back with the Packers in early June when mandatory training camp transpires.

We'll see how the Packers' 2022 season plays out. Although they lost Davante Adams, the roster is stacked for the most part. Additionally, it never hurts to have one of the league's top passers under center either.
