The Green Bay Packers have announced that their backup quarterback Jordan Love is on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He is vaccinated so this means that he tested positive.

Fortunately for the Packers, this isn't too big of a loss as Aaron Rodgers is the man who still rides the ship. There is a possibility that Love would have gotten some playing time in the next week or two as Green Bay has a commanding lead in the NFC North. They are 9-3 on the season and the second-place Minnesota Vikings are far behind at 5-7.

Since he is vaccinated, he will possibly be able to be back on the field earlier than somebody who is not vaccinated. He's going to have to test negative for COVID-19 before he returns.

Jordan Love has only appeared in four games this season for Green Bay but he has found some early success as he has thrown for 258 yards in only 41 attempts. He does have one touchdown on the season and an interception. There is a chance that Aaron Rodgers decides to leave the Packers next season so there is a possibility that Jordan Love is the future franchise quarterback. The next few weeks would have been a perfect opportunity to get Love some NFL reps so Aaron Rodgers can rest and be fully healthy for the playoffs.

Green Bay will take on the Chicago Bears next Sunday and look to improve to 10-3 on the season.
