The standoff between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers doesn't seem to be nearing a peaceful resolution.

One anonymous teammate of Rodgers doesn't see the disgruntled star quarterback relenting to the front office anytime soon.

“Aaron is an intelligent, trolling, petty, mother———,” an unnamed Packers player told Tyler Dunne of golongtd.com. “He’s going to get the last laugh. He’s going to make you look f——— stupid for disrespecting him.

In fact, this player believes the Packers brass should have seen Rodgers' discontentment coming.

“As a front office, why haven’t you anticipated this? Why are you getting blindsided? I’m not saying Aaron’s evil but this is like a criminal mastermind plan.”

The anonymous Packer told Dunne that he fully expects Rodgers to get his wish and be traded by the team. If not, he wouldn't be surprised if Rodgers hung up the cleats.

According to the source, the Packers would essentially need to cede full control of the franchise onto Rodgers — an unlikely scenario.

“Put it this way: they’d have to fire everybody. He is dug in. They’d have to make him the freakin’ owner of the team. The sense I get is the dude just wants control.”

The aspiring Jeopardy! host has been beefing with the Packers organization ever since the team drafted QB Jordan Love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

The irked 37-year old responded with his best season in years, tossing a league-leading 48 touchdowns against five interceptions, winning MVP honors, and leading the Packers to the NFC Championship Game.

With a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur controversially took the ball out of his best player's hands — a baffling call that didn't exactly help ease tensions between QB and organization.
