Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is one of the most accurate deep-ball passers in the NFL.

According to Pro Football Focus' official Twitter account, Rodgers didn't throw an interception on his pass attempts of at least 20 yards in 2018. The website considered quarterbacks with at least 18 deep attempts.

The 35-year-old Rodgers threw for 25 touchdown passes in the 2018 NFL season. While it's a long way off from his 45 touchdown passes seven years earlier, he threw just two interceptions in 2018. That's the fewest he's thrown in the last 11 seasons.

Rodgers' 4,442 passing yards in 2018 were also the most he's had since 2011. He managed to pull these numbers off despite getting sacked 49 times last season – his most since 2012 (51).

The takeaway: Rodgers is one of the smartest signal callers in the NFL. He may not be throwing as many touchdown passes, but he certainly knows how to pick his spots.

Rodgers doesn't lose games for the Packers with costly interceptions. If Green Bay shores up its offensive line play in 2019, Rodgers should give the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson a run for their money.

For now, Rodgers is trying to get a feel of new Packers head coach Matt LaFleur's offense, per ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

“I've got to be honest, I don't know the whole offense yet. I've been studying it but the difference between understanding it on paper and actually getting reps in it — the minicamp, those two days, and then the two days [of OTAs] that we've had so far is not a great sample size to tell you everything about the offense.

It's going to be different. It's going to look different formationally and the motions and some of the things that we're doing. But I think its' an offense that I can infuse creativity and put my stamp on.”

Nonetheless, expect Aaron Rodgers to pick his spots beautifully for the Green Bay Packers once again in the 2019 NFL season.
