The Green Bay Packers are looking to get back to their winning ways, return to the postseason, and regain their once elite offensive capabilities. Many mock drafts have the team addressing their offense and wide receiver A.J. Brown could be a tremendous pick for them ahead of next season.

“The Packers don’t have much after Davante Adams at receiver and there are options for them in the first, second or even third round to address the receiver position. A.J. Brown is a dominant receiver from the slot and could become an NFL-ready type player right away.”

Brown was fantastic for Ole Miss the last two seasons, catching 160 passes for 2,572 yards and 17 touchdowns as well as being named to All-SEC First teams in those two seasons.

The Packers drafted two talented wide receivers last season in Equanimeous St. Brown and Marquez Valdes-Scantling to complement Adams. Neither receiver emerged as a clear-cut number two, however, both showed tremendous potential. The Packers could benefit from taking Brown with their second pick in the first round considering they have other areas of need that ought to be addressed with their 12th overall pick.

Many mock drafts do have the Packers completely addressing their needs on offense by taking a tight end with their first pick then wide receiver with their second. The Packers hit a home run in free agency with their defensive signings, giving them the freedom to give head coach Matt LaFleur a lot of flexibility on offense via this year's draft.
