In a recent trade between the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans, Randall Cobb has found his way back to the Packers. After long offseason of negotiating between Aaron Rodgers and the front office, Rodgers essentially demanded for Cobb to be back on the roster.

The Packers have set themselves up for a run in the playoffs, but it seems Randall Cobb is acting a tad bit dramatic after his departure from the Texans, per Rob Demovsky. Apparently, Cobb is telling his Packers teammates he “can breath again.” Claiming, “I've seen the other side.”Ari Meirov provides the video context via Twitter.

Clearly Cobb is taking a light-hearted approach towards his time with the Houston Texans. Even so, the excitement cannot be ignored. He's back with the Green Bay Packers where he built his career and playing alongside Aaron Rodgers once again.

Although Cobb explicitly says he doesn't want to throw any shade at the Texans, he still does so by calling them a start-up. Clearly he's happy to be out of Houston and back in Green Bay, especially since the Packers are a solid playoff contender this year.

The Packers front office reached a deal with the Texans and are sending a 2022 sixth round pick in exchange for Cobb. Additionally, Houston has agreed to pay $3 million of Cobb's contract as well, giving the Packers some financial relief.

Both teams seem happy with the deal. Houston rids a contract that frees them up with more cap space while the Packers make Aaron Rodgers happy. The Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst explicitly said Cobb was not someone they would pursue without Aaron Rodgers' demands. It's obvious the front office has made this move to smooth things over with their star quarterback, even though he's likely heading out of the door after the season.
