The Green Bay Packers are looking to get back on track on Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers in what could be a crucial season-defining contest.

The Packers will likely have to venture in that game without the services of key components to their passing game with both wide receivers Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison dealing with injuries, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN via Lisa Salters.

These two have already missed last Sunday's game against the Detriot Lions because of injury that has put them in a tough spot at the wide receiver position testing their depth. Cobb has played in just three games this season where he has registered 17 catches for 194 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Outside of his huge performance in the season opener against the Chicago Bears where he had nine catches for 142 receiving yards and a touchdown, he has tallied 30 or fewer receiving yards in the other two games. He has been sidelined with the hamstring injury that with his last game played being against the Washington Redskins back on Sept. 23.

Meanwhile, Allison has been working his way through the concussion protocol along with dealing with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss last Sunday's game against the Lions. Allison has shown to be a reliable asset in the passing game for star quarterback Aaron Rodgers as he has 19 receptions for 289 receiving yards and two touchdowns in four games played. This includes notching more than 60 receiving yards in each contest while posting at least five catches three times.

The Packers are a tough spot at the wide receiver position that has put even more of the workload onto Pro Bowler DaVante Adams and Jimmy Graham to be the top targets in the passing game. This is also another potential opportunity for Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown to once again be prominent factors in the passing game after they combined for 10 catches for 157 yards and a touchdown in Sunday’s loss to Detroit.
