The Green Bay Packers got some good injury news on Monday, as both Rashan Gary and David Bakhtiari returned to practice, per Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Silverstein also reports that center Corey Linsley is the only new player not to be practicing. Gary was carted off the field late last week during the team's third preseason game, but obviously the injury wasn't too serious.

It's unclear what was bothering Bakhtiari, although he only ended up missing one day of practice. Bakhtiari is one of the best left tackles in the league, and he'll be absolutely critical to the Packers' success in 2019.

Bakhtiari dealt with knee and ankle issues last year, but he ended up appearing in all 16 games. In 2017, he missed four contests with a hamstring issue. If he can play a full 16-game slate again this season, it'll go a long way toward keeping Aaron Rodgers upright.

The Packers drafted Gary, the nation's top high school recruit in 2016, 12th overall out of Michigan back in April. There were concerns about the defensive lineman's shoulder coming out of college, but so far that hasn't been an issue.

Gary was a bit of a disappointment at Michigan considering his recruiting pedigree, but he's an elite athlete. He should have the chance to immediately become a better pro player than he was in college, and the Packers are likely counting on him to play a big role right away.

How healthy they stay will probably end up determining how the season goes.
